Over the course of the week artist in residence, Jake Cooper will be developing his light sculptures in relation to the Picture House. Interested in its history, design and redevelopment, he's been inspired to see how the building and culture of cinema will influence his work. he says,
"they are both spaces to watch light distorting. Cinemas are also places that are about collective experience and immersing a group of people into spaces that play with perception."
