Join writer and doodler Zo Copeland for a family-friendly zine making workshop. Stay for the whole session, or turn up at any point between 10.30am - 12.30pm to learn about zines, look at some examples, and either create one of your own from scratch, or use a ready to go template.
Everything you need will be provided for you to write/draw/doodle your way into zine-making. You can take a look at the project Zo is working on, contribute to it, and interact with the memory map. There's also a chance some of your creations could end up in the project for the Made in Paignton exhibition later in August. Everything you need will be provided.
Zo's workshops are LGBT+ safe and neurodivergent friendly spaces. This activity will be at the Projection Room, a welcoming new space that is wheelchair accessible, with toilet facilities on site.
You can book in advance or just turn up. It’s helpful if you can book in advance so we know how many people to expect.
