Wide Open kicks off with a late opening at Paignton Library with live music screenings, talks, and a chance to meet some of the artists who will be showing their work over the coming month. Sound Communities will host live sets through the evening, with a blend of young talent, singer-songwriters and instrumentalists.
Inspired by Paignton Picture House, there’ll be examples of early and pre- cinema innovations to explore and get involved with if you wish! Wide Open artists will share work in progress including film, music and performance. We’ll also be gathering stories and reflections from audiences to inform the work the artists are making, inspired by Paignton itself. Join us for a relaxed evening with live music. Free entry with paying bar.
You don’t need to book and walk-ups are welcome, but it’s helpful for us to know numbers attending.
