Join artist Inez Aponte for a conversational workshop capturing people’s personal stories about identity, ancestry, home, migration and belonging. Through facilitating conversations between different members of our community in Paignton, Inez helps to cultivating our ability to listen to all our diverse perspectives, enriching our society and how we understand each others’ histories and experiences.
The workshops on 24th and 31st July between 10am and 12.30pm are part of Inez’ artist residency in Paignton this July. You are welcome to come to one or both and can find out more about it here.
The residency is inviting members of the public into conversations about identity and belonging in a safe and inclusive way. Inez is keen to reach people who have either recently migrated to the area or have ancestors who did so, as well as people who have been in the area for many generations.
