The Tide: Painting workshop

  • Unit 5 Community Lounge & Coffee House 5 Victoria Square Paignton, England, TQ4 6PE United Kingdom (map)

Join artist Claire Jo Harmer for fun and friendly painting workshops. The Tide is a flexible drop-in workshop, exploring the tide and relationships between sea and land through intuitive painting. You will try painting effects and techniques inspired by the coast with access to a wide range of media and surfaces.  Suitable for all ages (children need to bring their adult). All welcome, whatever your painting ability or experience. Claire will provide all the creative materials needed.

These workshops are part of ‘Picturesque Torbay', a heritage community art project encouraging us all to get outdoors, explore the Tor Bay coast and create our own artwork. Claire’s community interest company Cabbage Tree Studio invites you to get creative, learn new skills and connect with Paignton’s beautiful natural environment.

The project is funded by National Lottery Heritage Fund exploring our UNESCO Global Geopark destination through your eyes and the eyes of artists past and present.
