Sadly, we’ve taken the difficult decision to cancel this event due to Storm Daragh.

The doors are open wide for you to come and celebrate the work of local artists inspired by the Paignton coast in the ‘To the Bay …’ exhibition, meet the artist Claire Jo Harmer as her Torbay Heritage Funded project ‘Picturesque Torbay’ comes to a close.

This is the final opportunity to enjoy the exhibition, see the artwork made during the week in Claire’s ‘en plein air’ painting workshop on 3rd Dec and postcards made by people who’ve visited the exhibition during the week. All inspired by the Paignton coastline and views that artists of national importance, like JMW Turner, have painted in the past. 

Refreshments will be available as we get together to enjoy creative interpretations of the view of the sea from Paignton in a relaxed get together. 

 ‘To the Bay’ is donating 10% of purchases to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.

 Torbay’s Local Heritage Grant Scheme is a collaboration between Torbay Council, Torbay Culture, and the English Riviera UNESCO Global Geopark, and made possible thanks to investment from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
