Creative writing sessions

  • The Projection Room 11 Torbay Road Paignton, England, TQ4 6AA United Kingdom (map)

Join us with this series of five weekly workshops gently linked to the theme of Sky with writer and poet Zo Copeland.

Those completely new to writing are as welcome as seasoned writers - no experience necessary. Maybe you're looking to start or reconnect with a writing practice... maybe you want to play with words with like-minded people… maybe you want to try something new… maybe you are a seasoned writer looking for a place to connect, or for a different stimulus to take your writing in a new direction… welcome!

Expect a safe, encouraging space where you will be guided to write using prompts. Opportunities for sharing, but no pressure to. Expect to surprise yourself!

Bring a note book and pencil - or other such writing tools you want to use - you are welcome to bring a tablet or laptop if that's your preferred way to write, but some of the activities will be paper-based (resources will be supplied for these).

Weekly workshops will run at the same time on 13th, 20th, 27th September, 4th and 11th October 2024. Join for one or the whole series. Any questions big or small please email: sara@filament.org.uk

Booking

Places are limited, please reserve your place by booking in advance. Pay what you feel with suggested donations of £0, £5, £10, £15 per workshop. Pay in advance when booking or with cash on the day.
